The Thumb Print is a savvy international magazine with a Northeastern soul. The magazine at the moment can best be described as a scaffold trying to maintain a precarious balance between the region and the world.
We hope to dispel many myths and stereotypes about the region and aid in bonding with the world. This is a dream to go global with local stories -- tales of the marginalized, the under-reported, criss-crossing through geographical terrain and psychological barriers.
The Thumb Print (www.thethumbprintmag.com) in association with Indian Social Institute, Bangalore presents the first of its kind Conversation series.
The conversation would be on Media and Northeast India: Looking Ahead.
Top journalists and intellectuals of Bangalore will be a part of the dialogue. It will also introduce and celebrate the journey of The Thumb Print.
