Little Hands Production, a multi tasking unit operating in the field of photography, film making and event management and Contemporary Art Group which is dedicated to promote visual art, in collaboration with Directorate of Information &Public Relation (DIPR) and Assam Tourism has organised an unique painting cum photography exhibition titled Sangria 2013 from 4th to 9th November at State Art Gallery where latest works of painting maestro Noni Borpujari and photography skills of popular singer/actor Zubeen Garg and visual artist Hemanta Debnath will be showcased. The exhibition was inaugurated by noted litterateur and recipient of Sahitya Academy award Atulananda Goswami along with Basanta Das, Minister of Information and Public Relations, Fisheries and Printing & Stationery who graced the event as chief guest.
Many noted personalities including Dr. Hitesh Baruah M.D Nemcare Hospital, Rita Chowdhury (poet, novelist and receiver of Sahitya Academy Award), Sameer Tanti (Eminent Poet, Assam Valley Literary Awardee), Biren Singha, Prabin Nath, Imran Hussain, Jayanta Dutta, Kapil Thakur, Atul Lahkar, singer Arun Das, writer Monalisha Saikia were also present in the event. The mission of this exhibition is to promote creative thinking and the zeal to do something different. The trio do not have any professional training on these skills yet they have the zeal and the will to go against the conventional ways and take their hobbies to a different level.
The motto of this exhibition is that if a person has willingness and enthusiasm to walk on the ‘road not taken’ he/she will achieve success in the grandest way possible.
