    began his career in advertising. He moved into journalism and during his nearly 20 year career as a photographer worked first with a newspaper, then a few magazines, a travel website and finally with the international arts and culture magazine Time Out as the Editor of Photography and Design Director for their India editions. His work has been featured in publications across India and in books like Bombay: The Cities Within, Fort Walks, Anchoring a City Line and Bombay, Meri Jaan. He was also the editor of photography for the hugely popular Bombay Then, Mumbai Now. His works have been exhibited in India and abroad. His work is part of the collection of the Museum of Photographic Arts (Houston, USA), the Peabody Essex Museum (MA; USA) and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts (Japan) and private collections in India. Chirodeep lives in Bombay and divides his time between teaching and photography projects that range from typewriters to cafe visitors. His latest book, A Village in Bengal, is to be released this October.
